Ooh i could not update my wedding journal along the way till my wedding as i was real damn busy with works. I am way behind for my own story now. Well I am just going to do a review of each detail related to my wed. The least I could do.

This is my so called pre wed video. I just love this idea. Instead of the normal short film where couples usually act in it. I am trying to avoid that kind of thing since we are not yet married.

Gosh it has been a while since my last update. Been busy the whole life. Went for a few window shopping around. Searching here and there. Looking for my watch. It was a hard decision. But it all lead me to this just simple kind of watch. Which also saved my cost a lot. I wanted the DKNY one. But my mum just bought herself one. Issokay. This one is fine. Wearable. Since i am the careless type. This Esprit cost me only about RM200++ after discount. Big offer that time.

Next is this FUJI Instax Mini 7s (Pink). Been wanting this. Woo. Bought it at Sunway Pyramid. Photo Kraft i think the shop name is. RM228 only. But why does the film have to be expensive. Eurgh. Issokay. ;)

HIV Test

Sorry for neglecting this space of mine again. Been busy with other spaces. Hee. ;) This is an update on my wedding procedure. Well as one of the procedure you have to take HIV test. We did ours at Pusat Kesihatan/Poliklinik Komuniti Shah Alam. Located at Section 7, Shah Alam. You have to make an appointment in order to do your test there. Usually take about 2 weeks between the appointment as it is one of the only government hospital around the district that are official.

So the date we were served was 20th February 2012 at 2PM.

So the procedures we went like this.

1. Arrived at the Poliklinik. Went straight upstairs on 1st floor. 

2. Filled up some forms about our family background.

3. Filled up the HIV test form.

4. Went downstairs to get our queue number.

5. Number is called to the counter. Showed our IC. Paid RM1 only. 

6. The staff will ask you to go to another section.

7. Leave you form in a special box by the door.

8. Waited for our name to be called.

9. Once called. Entered. Sit by the doctor. Give your hands. One second. POP. Stapled kinda look went on stapled your hand.

10. Waited outside for your result.

11. Voila. Settled.

The result was HIV-Rapid Test Non Reactive.

 I was nervous all along. I shout a little too when they had the needles that fast on me.

Yeay syukur.

Ooh we met with Zuhair & Tina who was on appointment for their test too. What a lovely surprise. Had some sharing sessions. Nice knowing them. Nice couple. ;)

So it started at 2PM and ended within 2 hours only. Easy.

Pre Wedding Course Certificate

So a week went by after the wedding course at Mahligai Firdaus. It took about a week for our Pre Wedding Course Certificate to be ready. Yeay. 1 step done. Alhamdulillah. Lets move on to the next one.

This is an update of my wedding procedure. Me & Faiz settled one of our task which is to go for our marriage course @ Kursus Kahwin at Mahligai Firdaus in Setiawangsa. It is a one day and a half course. This is the only place which starts early morning in the Saturday and ends early which is by noon on Sunday. You have to pay RM80 for the course. It is a good start course to prepare and mind setting for you marriage life. Ustaz & Ustazah is nice. They made it real fun. We enjoyed. The participant were laughing their head off all the way. Everything was great. Except for you will get you butt hurt so much as you sits all day long. I think they should provide sofas for the participant instead. That would be more comfortable. Hee. The food was so-so. But never mind.  I did not really care about the food anyway.

It is truly recommended. ;)

MBSA Banquet Hall Confirmation

How are you? Well it was kind of a bit hectic week for me. Assignment. Works. Wedding. Lets juggle yeah. Last Thursday if i am not mistaken 29th December 2012. Off i went with Faiz & me sister Syahid to MBSA. To settled our remaining bills for the Banquet Hall rental. If my mum had not remind us to check the MBSA T&C payment we would have forgotten about it. It was about to expired on the 6th of January. Gosh. Lucky we still have the time. If not, I would not have the idea to think of any other decent place at a time like this. Which is 6 months more. So yeah. Bubbye RM 3500.

Dowry Gift @ Pavilion

Here is another updates on our Wedding Dowry gift. Last weekend. Christmas it is. Me, Faiz, Salmi and Sudin went off to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur for another window shopping. It was quite late in the evening already. Gosh it was too crowded. This is actually our first time to wonder around here. Last time was like last 2 years assume. That busy?

After boutique by boutique, well not that much. There was a little time left before 10. We managed to buy what I wanted. A Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh perfume set at Parksons. Bubbye RM297. Hello Marc Jacobs.  Woo. That would add up my Marc Jacobs collection. :)

Next up. Round and round. Mission was to look for our watch. I had Marc Jacobs in mine too. It ends up with buying Ted Baker for Faiz side. RM 448 after 10% discount at Tang's. Then we got to know if we were to buy the watch at Ted Baker boutique. You will get a free iPhone case. Dang! But nevermind. We got 10% discount and to collect points. So, no regret yea. For me? None of the Marc Jacobs one i fancy. :(
Next time yea.

So this what we bought. Simple isn't it. Love the packaging too. Awesome right?. ;)

Wedding Dowry A Start

Wow, it has been a while hasn't it. Few months has passed by. I was just too busy to even think about my wedding. Busy with the company, events, friends plus my studies. My finals are just around the corner. I promise to concentrate more on my preparation after the final. 

Last week 18th of December if i am not mistaken, me , Faiz, Salmi, Jamboo, Sudin, Zul and Naz went off to MidValley Megamall just to have our late lunch while window shopping. Came accross this Jusco perfume booth. So there we go. Our 1st gift for the wedding dowry has been bought. A perfume set for Faiz. Sean John it is. Been longing this smell. It was hard to choose between I Am King and Unforgivable. Me & Salmi prefer Unforgivable. But the guys, I mean all of them prefer I Am King. I Am King also comes with great package and a free watch rather than the plain old set of Unforgivable. I win. This cost us about RM360. Sorry, had to turn down I Am King this time. Next time maybe. So there goes. 1 down. Million more to go and burn.

Wedding Hall Confirmation Letter

Well it is the 1st day of Ramadhan. How did it went for you peeps? Mine was Alhamdulillah fine. Well as you can read my title you would have know it already right? Hee. So the confirmation letter arrived at last! After 3 weeks to be exact. They promised us about one week. We were given about 2-3 days to settled the deposit. RM 1000 to be exact. The letter arrived on 30th. We were given until 4th of August. Wow that sounds quick. So im going off tomorrow first in the morning. Woo..:)

Food Testing & Booking

Ooh i woke up very early on Saturday morning. Had BBQ till late the night before. Ready and off to go. Went to my Wedding Caterer's office/headquarter. Had another food testing. Then had a little meeting to confirm my bookings. The rest is to decide later because right now it is still too early to choose the outfit and such. Ok i have to pay the 10% of my bill next. That's all i think for now. Insyaallah :)

The food testing will be tomorrow from 10 am until 3pm if i am not mistaken.
Hope everything would be all fine.
Will be discussing all other matter regarding wedding according to the packages.

Wedding Hall Application

So as i mentioned earlier. I would like to go for Dewan Banquet MBSA. Last Thursday 6th of July 2011, off me and & Faiz went to MBSA Counter. They said there's an available slot for the July. So we had to filled in the form first and wait for the feedback from MBSA. The staff said their feedback would be in post deliver to my house within a week. Oh i just hope that there would be no problem with the process. Insyallah :)

So we have decide our venue. Well we had few places in mind.

Villamay

This one has to be my mum's favorite. A bungalow situated in Section 7 Shah Alam. Owned by Puan Sri Akmal if not to be mistaken. So comfy and suitable for garden themed wedding too. I had my class reunion there once. There's a spa and a restaurant also.Very beautiful yet classy. It is nice.

But sorry i prefer to be in banquet hall with full air-cond then the garden typed. It will be easier, simple yet no hassle. Hee :) The bungalow is more suitable for those who are planning for a private function. I'm inviting families, not just couple. Imagine if the kids were to run around the place. Ooh please.

Well, last week. As some of you might know or went.
Wedding Carnival @ Stadium Melawati Shah Alam.
1st - 3rd July 2011.
It was a random visit.
We did not plan to plan for our wedding yet. Well just yet.
You know what i mean.
Since the event were just a mile away from my office.
1 of the vendor is the client of ours.
So we thought why not have a peeps what's in it.
We went twice.
1st on Friday the 1st day.
Then the 2nd day was with my mum.
Lots of interesting wedding packages i must say.
We are looking for an affordable and fashionably reasonable packages
My mum had fun with the food and testing.
1 caterer she had in mind.
Which i will tell in the next post once we are confirmed..

Wedding Date

Just about this week. We were discussing about when is the date going to be.We decide to proceed with the Nikah ceremony on the 6th of July 2012 which will be on Friday night hopefully. It is on my dad's birthday. Hopefully there's no problem about that. Yes we decide the wedding ceremony will be just the next day 7th of July 2012 on the Saturday. We need to decide on where will be the venue. Wee.. :)

The Proposal

This is just a recap story.
It was on the 21st of November 2010.
Which is about more than a month after the proposal.
We had our official dinner at Tony Roma's Sunway Pyramid.
So it is like a mix of officially booked shall i say. :)
A friend of ours Salmi & Jamboo joined us later on for a dessert session.

Yeah it is! A simple tea session in the evening.

Along with dinner at night at the Famous Thai.

Everything went well so far.

Praying for next phase too.
